After careful review of your drywall needs, we determine the most economical cuts to prevent waste and ensure a desirable finish. We use only quality materials, including USG Smoothwall drywall, high strength lightweight drywall, fire code drywall, moisture resistant drywall, green board, Durock, and other high-quality supplies. Our suppliers then carefully stock each level of the home according to our specific instructions.
Each piece of drywall is precision cut to minimize seams, and then glued and screwed. This method of hanging ensures a sturdy foundation for your drywall. We then install quality metal or vinyl cornerbead. Bullnose, or rounded, cornerbead is also an option. Windows and door openings may be wrapped depending on your specifications. After completion, we dispose of any waste and broom sweep all areas.
After your drywall is hung, our taping crews begin by pre-filling all wallboard joints with Durabond and applying mesh tape. We then apply two additional coats of compound, plus a touch-up coat, for a total of three coats of finishing material. Each coat of mud is allowed to thoroughly dry, with our final sanding leaving a smooth finish ready for paint.
